In 1979, the store was opened as Direct Carpet Outlet. Three years later Rick Pendergrass was hired and began working at the store. Fast forward one decade, Rick and his wife Debbi purchased Direct Carpet Outlet. In 1994, the decision was made to join the Carpet One Floor & Home Cooperative. This gave us the buying power of over 1,400 stores worldwide which lets us bring you the best products at a lower cost.
