My 5 year old cat dexter is HIV positive and has now been diagnosed with lymphoma. He originally saw dr guma and dr Harrison who did ultrasound and some other tests they were both very pleasant and knowledgeable and seemed to care about my cat. He has now been referred to oncology. The practice regular oncologist is on maternity leave so they have a doctor from NJ flying in on Monday and a doctor from SC flying in on Thursday and Friday. Needless to say the Monday male oncologist couldn’t wait to get off the phone with me a... read more

They provided good and prompt service..but extremely expensive. Yet again...it is an ER service 💰 They could have done a better job screening or phasing their treatment so I don’t have to run through many very expensive tests unnecessarily...they also missed the exact diagnosis. I found later that my cat got sick from exposure to essential oil diffuser. That was not part of their questions even though lavender and other essential oils are known to be toxic to cats. I researched on my own when I was given “something fu... read more

Worst care ever! Arrived around 3:30 with my dachshund who had been bitten by one of my other dogs. He had a small wound on the top of his head and a puncture wound under his left jaw causing a lot of bleeding and a large hematoma. I had to leave my baby there with strangers as he needed a surgical procedure to put a drain in. The procedure wasn’t done until 12:37 am. I got a call to pick him up at 12:57 am and told 1 hour. I picked him up around 2:30 am and he was not completely recovered from the anesthesia, wasn’t blinkin... read more

Had a bad experience - front desk had a very short and bad attitude. People are coming there with emergencies - I don’t get why the front desk would add to that with a bad attitude and nasty tone. Also the cost was extraordinary and outside what we were quoted. But like most emergency places they know they have you over a barrel. Last if you plan to charge an extra ordinary price for something mundane you ought to be absolutely certain you’ve made it clear. Not a good experience.

Within 30 hours our dog went from being mobile and alert to dead. The vets were good to call and share information, including an additional price tag to go with it. Had us believing he was doing better, vitals good but blood work not so much. This we knew. They continued to push for “aggressive therapy”, we were led to believe that was what they were doing. The vet wanted him to stay another night. We agreed to two nights. They wanted a third night, he needed a blood transfusion, which would help him and again mentioned cos... read more

⚠️⚠️⚠️DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO DOGS AND CATS VETERINARY REFERRAL BOWIE⚠️⚠️⚠️ We spent over 8000 $ to keep our puppy alive without diagnosis!!! They did all the expensive and invasive tests without doing the basic essential checks, such as fecal test as soon as we took him in!!!! They kept saying our puppy had hemophilia so we paid for hemophilia test while he kept getting worse and worse so we have to keep him there, hospitalized and under IV and blood transfusions. We got stuck in this place since his PCV kept dropping and ... read more

I will never ever take an animal here again. My dog had surgery done and with in 5 days he passed away. Was 4 years old. The surgery that was supposed to be done was changed I had minutes to make a decision. Then they send him home after a major surgery the same day. I won’t go into how I feel or the fact he came home and it looked like a murder scene. My baby was in so much pain. Again went there happy and acting fine until this... then I had to take him back for complications and they said oh no he’s fine everything looks ... read more
