I’d recommend only as an emergency option. Service is slow. My pet was there for over 6 hours for a minor problem that took long to diagnose, however the attending vet called to check on my pet the day after which was very much appreciated.

My poor boy Buzz the miniature schnauzer had a liver tumor the size of a baseball. Thankfully it was successfully removed by the wonderful surgeon there. The staff was amazing and took great care for him while he was hospitalized. Hopefully now he will have a long happy life to spend with his humans and bigger brother Tyson a Pit-bull who was quite concerned about Buzz when he got home.

Working with Dr. Guma was great & she is very caring & knowledgeable. But I will admit its VERY expensive & their hours are very difficult for me since their last appointment is at 2:45. I also was a little annoyed it took 30 mins just to have my pet returned to me. I do understand COVID has changed things but taking 30 mins to return a pet is a bit much. Brought my little old guy here twice for emergent care. Dr. Gagliardo and staff are the epitome of professional, friendly and compassionate. Everything was communicated clearly and in advance. The recommended course of action, with all options, was clearly explained and I was kept abreast of my pet’s status. I would never want to have to have my pup treated in another emergent situation, but if I do, I know that he will be in great hands with Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral & ER.
