About Dogs We Trust has a passion for helping people learn how to train their dogs to develop a balanced lifestyle within the family structure and social settings. The majority of dogs found abandoned in animal shelters, were once cute little puppies who grew into big problems. Why? Most likely because of an owner who didn’t know how to communicate with them or because they didn’t understand what leads a dog down the wrong path to undesired, destructive behaviors.

Jonathan was so good with our German Shepherd! Our Good dog is very protective of us and wary of strangers, also lived to chase squirrels when walking. With our first session he understood he was to “behave” on the leash and We were in charge. We have more work to do but what a great beginning. Highly recommend.
Jocelyn and Jonathan were amazing to work with. Our dog, Chipper (age 14 months) stayed for a week for dog training. The biggest focus was on jumping on us and mouthing/play biting. They also helped with overall listening and waiting for our direction. The improvement has been amazing, he seems like a different dog. I am so very grateful for Jonathan and Jocelyn! There aren’t enough stars for my review! We have a goofy and easy going Golden, and then a super high energy Belgian Malinois mix who is a great escape artist! I hated boarding them in the past because it would normally mean she’d be somewhere stuck mostly inside so she couldn’t escape. I have a 15 month old Great Pyrenees who had a very rough start in life. I got him at 9 weeks old and I was his 2nd owner. I have been working with Jonathan for several months, and Sammy is coming out of his shell more and more. Jonathan is very patient and compassionate, while being firm with him at the same time. Sammy’s behavior in general is much improved, including not as much destructive chewing, and he’s a happier dog. I cannot say enough positive things about working with Jonathan. It took me four months to find some place I felt safe leaving my dog for a board and train while I was out of the country for two weeks. Jonathan and Jocelyn answered every question I had and explained everything about their training program and training styles so that I had all the information I needed to feel comfortable in my decision.
