Dowd-Fox HVAC gave a fair estimate compared to the other companies. I was undecided what kind of thermostat to get so Scott Fisher told me that he will have the workers explain everything to me. Ismail and Steve arrived on time and was very professional. Ismail was thorough and went into detail explaining how to use the thermostat so that I can choose the right one. Dowd replaced my 20+ year old Kenmore heating/AC system with a new Trane system. The new system works fine and I am happy with the quality of the products and the workmanship. I had a few technical/service questions and Dowd was prompt with a reply and assistance. They sent a tech rep out at no charge to address my concerns. I'd use Dowd again and I recommend them to anybody looking for a new heater/AC.
Dowd was fantastic with every step of the process. They gave several different options and recommendations based on the rooms that we wanted to install the mini splits and took our concerns/ideas into consideration. The installation team was professional. They answered any and all questions that we had. They were pleasant and helpful and cleaned the work areas perfectly at th end of the job. I would highly recommend Dowd to anyone interested in having a heat pump/mini split system installed.
We have an old farm house so we’ve had many workers in every facet come out for repairs & maintenance over the past couple years. John was the type of guy you could just tell he knew his craft. Professional, friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable. Broke it down so I understood what was needed now and what would be needed later. Was completely impressed by John. Highly recommend!
