Long story short. Car accident along I 95 south. Called a tow truck. Went to Downtown Garage. Enthralled by my free estimate. After research, found that I would have paid way more at another shop. Fixed within a couple days! Body work and paint is like new! Friendliest staff who loves their community!
I have personal dealings with Downtown Garage and Auto body. Yes all the people here have a right to their own opinion however A/C leaks dented leather and taking too long to repair cars. Come on people. First off most of the time when there is an accident there might be more damage than estimated by the company whoever it would be GEICO STATEFARM and others. Downtown Garge fixed my 08 BMW after a bad accident. $25,000 in damages. They were very easy to work with and when the insurance co. gave me a hard time, they worked with them to settle all the issues I had and they got them to provide me with rental time they were not going to allow. On top of it all they did an outstanding job on my car. It looks as good or better than it did and drive like new. They kept me well informed. This is the second time I have used them. I recommend them highly.
Our liftgate still isn't working properly. We're unwiling to keep taking the van to the shop to have them see if it acts up. With all the problems after first getting the van back I've run back and forth more than enough. I would have been satisfied for them to keep it a few days while paying for a rental for us.
They were courteous and they let me bring our van in shortly after we'd been rear ended. Repair took twice as long as we were told. They kept in good contact with us throughout. Body work looks good and the paint matches up well. Seat stowed improperly for weeks and leather still dented after 6 months.
