My motivation was simply to just look good in my clothes without revealing the tummy bulge and muffin top. The outcome was even better than expected. My implants were 13 years old. They were sagging and I was not happy with the appearance of my breasts with and without clothes. I experienced minimal discomfort from the procedure. At 3 days I was able to resume normal day to day activity. At four weeks I am able to resume exercise. I am100% satisfied.
The first thing you should know is that Dr. Oppenheimer is the best plastic surgeon in Florida. He cares about his patients just like they are a part of his family. He made me feel comfortable and took all the time I needed to understand what I needed to have done. Dr. Oppenheimer has a wonderful bedside manner and truly takes the time to answer any questions you may have. He makes it easy for you to understand your options, etc. I chose to have implants due to excess skin but after reviewing my wants/needs, Dr. O recommended a lift with implants. I trusted his judgment and embarked on my journey. I am writing this review to express and let others how thankful I am to Dr. Oppenheimer for making such a great difference in my life. My case was extremely challenging as I had the worst grade/type of cellulite on my thighs (dimpling and rippling) I am so happy and grateful that he was up for the challenge and due to his skills and competence he exceeded both of our expectations. 1970 implants had leaked. Breasts were droopy and uneven. I knew I needed to have a replacement, reduction and lift; however, I thought the recovery was so long ... I kept delaying making the decision. After attending learning seminars with Dr. Oppenheimer, I knew now was the time. Wonderful outcome, short recovery. I am still amazed! In January 2015 I had an Abdominal Hernia repair with Component Separation with mesh done. December 2014 my General Surgeon decided that he suddenly wanted to included a Plastic Surgeon in on my case which had been scheduled for several months for January 2015. My motivation was a result of my breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 44. I had a double mastectomy and being so young, I wanted to pursue breast reconstruction. Pros, remove the bad breasts and replace them with good ones. I would say it was a life saving decision. It was a year in the making, but we made it. Cons, would be that it was a long year.
