If this is for a rhinoplasty, RUN. After nearly a decade long journey beginning with Dr. Shah, I have spent countless time, energy, money, and pain, attempting to reverse the physical and emotional damage done at his hands. I write this as I sit writhing in pain from a horrendous and exorbitantly expensive revision rhino, years after Dr. Shah legitimately butchered my nose multiple times. I cannot adequately express the anger and regret I feel for having chose Dr. Shah in the first place, or stupidly agreeing to let him perf... read more
I received a revision rhinoplasty from Dr Shah in 2012. My nose is now dramatically curved. Additionally the tip was lowered making my already long nose look significantly longer (was not shown to me in the simulation as a front view change). I have problems breathing and smelling things. I went in for another revision rhinoplasty consult and have been told that my nose is collapsing on one side. I really liked Dr Shah, he was helpful with all the swelling after the surgery and did follow up appointments for a whole year aft... read more
Long story short. Good reviews unfortunately does not always mean something. Had my surgery after doing my research and when my cast came off I knew immediately that I was botched. Funny that he uses digital imaging but does not even follow it. He over carved my bridge for whatever the heck reasons and made me look like whoville with a saddle nose. The results are far from the ideal image we agreed on. Do not go to him for a rhinoplasty unless you want to look like me. Oh and I should of known when he called the night before... read more
I saw Dr. Shah previously for a forehead bump. He ordered a CT scan and it was confirmed to be an osteoma. This seemed like a very easy, straightforward procedure to remove it- make an incision in my hair, go down with a bone scraper, and file the bone down. My forehead looked pretty good immediately afterwards. I was swollen but once the swelling subsided, the bump was still there. About a year later, I contacted Dr. Shah expressing my dissatisfaction. Dr. Shah wanted to repeat the procedure and I agreed. Slight improvement... read more

My forehead looked pretty good immediately afterwards. I was swollen but once the swelling subsided, the bump was still there. Dr. Shah wanted to repeat the procedure in 2014. I agreed. Slight improvment at best. I contacted him again in 2018 and he wanted to do a 3rd rev... read more
I'll keep this brief. I had 3 consults with 3 surgeons in the Chicago area and chose Dr Shah because I "thought" he had more experience. I wasn't expecting perfection, but I was definitely expecting improvement. It's been a little over a year and what I have now thanks to him is a masculine-looking, crooked nose with reduced breathing function. I can't tell you what a horrible year I've been through all thanks to Dr Shah. I've been looking for a revision doctor since 2 weeks post-op when I knew something was wrong. My advice... read more
I should have never left 2 good reviews. One before my surgery, and one after. It's 3 months post op, and my nose looks awful. There's many discrepancies with the appearance, I think i'll need to undergo a 2nd surgery. The incision cut is extremely crooked and it looks like the tip of my nose is disconnected. As well as my bridge having and uneven bone structure.
Dr Anil Shah is a nice guy and loves to talk. About three years ago I had my first revision rhinoplasty with him to thin out my tip and fix a dip in my nose. From the moment the cast came off I noticed that something was off, my nostrils were crooked, my tip was ginormous, my breathing was as bad as before, the dip on my nose wasn't fixed and I suddenly suffered from a hanging and real painful columnella. He gave me many steroid shots and told me that I was a bad healer (WRONG! I actually heal very well) and the steroid shot... read more
The doctor is actually very polite and a good listener. Showed me great patient before and after pics. Just disappointed my results didn't turn out.
