I very much do not recommend Sophia Whims. I had one appointment with her which was the “diagnostic” part I guess. She was extremely unprofessional, would interrupt me a lot, she got visibly frustrated when I wasn’t giving her the information she wanted, while also saying she felt like she couldn’t continue with the formal questions she had because I was getting too emotional. I called to set up an appointment and the person on the phone sounded like they did not want to talk to me. I asked when the earliest appointment would be and she responded with a date in November. I was hoping to get testing before then so I asked what the availability of other locations are and she said it was the same exact date which seems odd. This place has been really great to me. First off, they got me in SO FAST in a real time of need. The staff was incredible, the first gal I talked to had me laughing so hard, we were having a lot of fun. Second gal I talked to was very empathetic to me, I was quite emotional on the phone just learning about my friends passing. She helped me with everything so I didn't lose my apt. In all my life I never had a dr cut me off when I am talking me when I was talking about my own experience and say I’m the dr I have a degree like somehow that gives the right to put my opinion to the side instantly ,and putting an opinion on something when I was explaining my side and point of view and that it’s their job to simplify it so it doesn’t matter when i know it matters because it’s not what it seems especially in mental healthcare, never felt so disrespected in my life by a dr and right or wrong I don’t think sa... read more
