My entire experience was great... as it always is when I go there. How the staff treat you is a reflection of how the physicians view their practice... and the staff (front and back) are knowledgeable and friendly. They never make me feel I'm a bother... I had a wonderful experience at Middletown Eye Care. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel comfortable and at ease. So lucky to get in, and I think I found my new ophthalmologist for life. Everyone was terrific, including Dr. Strickland. I felt at ease and I felt it was such a thorough investigation to my problems with my vision and everything seems to be going forward in a positive direction. Also I don't. I think it could be stated enough that lots of people become doctors, and they have my respect, but he gets double for being a military (Navy) doctor first.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Strickland. He's very good at explaining procedures as well as a good listener. He performed my cataract surgery and I have no complaints. If you want a doctor who is competent as well as caring and personable, I highly recommend him.
