After consultations with 3 other Orthodontists left me less than impressed, a good friend referred me to Dr. Hakim and finally, I knew my 2 children were in good hands! He knows how to relate to young children by talking "to" rather than "at" them and my children are thoroughly engaged in his presence. Because of his advanced training and the fact that he is a teacher, he offers more than the traditional orthodontist who simply straightens teeth and is aware of the latest techniques and cutting edge research. He makes sure that the jaw, bite and face are balanced. He has years of experience and many before and after pictures to support his brilliance of a doctor. His Office Manager, Lourdes, is the most loving and nurturing woman and she too has a wonderful way of relating to the children and explaining what will be happening during the visit. It's a wonderful office environment - very calm and welcoming.

Braces for Billy When my son Billy needed braces, I wanted to take him somewhere he felt comfortable. From the first minute we walked into Dr. Hakims office, Billy and I both felt at ease. Weve been back to the office a couple times since Billy got his braces, and each time its been a pleasure. Dr. Hakim told us all about care for braces like what not to eat. If you need braces, Dr. Hakim is a great orthodontist.
