For the last 15 years, I was dealing with chronic ear infections or so I thought. I went to an ENT and he said do you clench your teeth? He told me to find a dentist that desks with TMJ issues. I went to him and explained my ear pain, a constant popping sound when I ate anything. He ordered an MRI and did additional scans to find my TMJ was in bad shape. I started seeing Dr. Jelinek in the summer of 2024, after I noticed increase headaches, stabbing jaw pains, hearing loss, and an inability to fit a sandwich into my mouth. After the consult and MRI we confirmed the issue. He was an expert in explaining the process, the cause, and the treatment! Though my insurance covered nothing (we’re still fighting) I know my appliance was life changing! I can eat sandwiches without fear, or pain again!
Our pulmonologist referred us to Dr. Jelinek after CPAP and BiPAP failed to remedy our obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Jelinek is well regarded in his field and has years of experience and has the highest credentials in dental sleep medicine (ABDSM Diplomate). Under his care sequential sleep studies showed a dramatic improvement in obstructive sleep apnea (severe to mild). There were no issues during the treatment period and it was a joy to work with him and his staff.
Dr Jelenek solved my sleep apnea problem quickly and easily. He is a consummate professional at what he does. I recommend him without hesitation.
