Today was my first day visiting this practice. I had a consultation only. Treatment will follow after I get my test results. I was very impressed with the dentist and staff. I was seen right away and they answered all my questions. The office is absolutely beautiful and very welcoming.
It was truly a blessing in disguise to have been referred to The Center for Sleep Apnea and TMJ. I have been under H. Charles Jelinek, Jr D.D.S. for over a year. Although the sleep apnea diagnosis is new, I was plaqued with TMJ for years. Through the use of an innovative mouthpiece designed by Dr. Jelinek, I no longer have problems with either condition. For the last 15 years, I was dealing with chronic ear infections or so I thought. I went to an ENT and he said do you clench your teeth? He told me to find a dentist that desks with TMJ issues. I went to him and explained my ear pain, a constant popping sound when I ate anything. He ordered an MRI and did additional scans to find my TMJ was in bad shape. I started seeing Dr. Jelinek in the summer of 2024, after I noticed increase headaches, stabbing jaw pains, hearing loss, and an inability to fit a sandwich into my mouth. After the consult and MRI we confirmed the issue. He was an expert in explaining the process, the cause, and the treatment! Though my insurance covered nothing (we’re still fighting) I know my appliance was life changing! I can eat sandwiches without fear, or pain again!
I was last seen by Dr. Jelinek on 5.15.2025. Dr. H. Charles Jelinek and his staff have been taking care of me for several years, treating me with Oral Devices for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. They do a great, thorough, overall job, at treating me for my conditions, trying to reduce and alleviate me of my symptoms, and have referred me to a great ENT surgeon who works in conjunction with other specialists to reduce & alleviate my health problems.
