Dr Desai, my parents are not good with technology so I am writing this review on my father's behalf. You recently performed what was his now 2nd back surgery. The 1st surgery performed by another practitioner in their home country was not very successful. Dr. Desai performed L4-L5 surgery on me Feb 26th. Recovery is challanging, but the surgery was needed. Dr. Desai went through great pre surgery measures to insure surgery is what I needed. He detailed it from pre op, to post op revovery. Dr. Desai recieved, and answered every single time I called, and he even took me in for extra post op visits, due to the pain I experience. I went to Dr. Desai two months ago. He was very dismissive and then ordered the wrong MRI. After trying to fix everything through NYSI they constantly had a crucial person for scheduling out of office and it took me two weeks of calling everyday just to finally have someone text me the MRI prescription. Im finding a new spine doctor but it would definitely be helpful if Dr. Desai would consider looking at patients backs, or listening to what the issue is, etc.
Dr. Desai is the BEST !!!! . . My surgery was a success & he did not disappoint. The recovery , pain & healing process was very minimal. I will recommend him to anyone !!! 😊
