The best Psychiatrist I've ever found. Dr.Samuel Viglietta has been a lifeline for me ,he really listens to me and in the past I've found that quality hard to find in a Psychologist. I'm beyond thankful for his help and it's very reassuring to know I have him to support me getting to a healthier place in my life.
Psychiatrist Viglietta unethically charged my card 150$ for a 'late cancellation fee' that was actually caused because he himself told my teenager, after she logged on, to meet the next day instead. He also billed my insurance for the same session, which he claims my daughter 'cancelled'. (???). Terrible. We tried to appeal but he insisted on charging the late cancel fee, while also billing my insurance for the same 'cancelled' session. Horrible. Patients beware; horrible and unethical (and illegal?) over-billing practices.
My doctor is AWESOME and has been so incredibly helpful (major game-changer!! FIVE STARS!!!!) but LifeStance as an organization is absolutely awful. Too large to function properly. Complete disconnect between doctors, patients and institution. You know that feeling of being lost in automated phone systems, unable to contact someone who is able to help you? Dr Viglietta is great! However, if there was a way to visit him outside of LifeStance I’d do that in a heartbeat. Support is a hit or miss and the patient portal feels like you’re in 1990. They are also a black box with their cancellation policy and you have to fight tooth and nail for any type of grace. I was 20 mins past the 48 hour window and they still tried to charge me over $150.
Today was my initial consultation with Doctor Viglietta. Because it was our first session, I opted to go into the office rather than do a telehealth consult. Dr. Vigalietta Surpassed my expectations. He listened intently to why I was there, what struggles I was currently facing and what my coping mechanisms were. I was very impressed with him and he started me on a new antidepressant to add to what I’ve been taking for the last 5 years and we scheduled a follow up in 2 weeks.
