Had a great experience when I took my mom there after she injured her foot. We saw the PA, and he was very friendly and took the time to explain everything to my mom. The staff was friendly and polite. Would recommend to anyone.
Dr. Uhland is very kind, helpfull, and explains in details what your injury are and what he will be doing to repair the injury or get you back to the most function possible. I had a shattered radial head which we could not get to heal. I had seen 2 doctors before Unland and noone was willing to do anything to repair it. Only got worse by other doctors just wanting to try bone stimulater and and just keep watching to see. Would not recommend. My rotator cuff surgery was to be a very simple orthoscopic surgery. However for no reason given by Uland he decided to leave me with a 3 inch cut on my shoulder. Refused to swap my pain meds because my current ones was making me nauseated. When I came out of recovery the orderly was asleep in a wheelchair across from me. The nurse realized another patient was coming out of surgery and needed my bed so she quickly dressed me wanting to bypass putting on my shoes. Worst experience ever.
Dr Uhland has done three mostly successful surgeries on me over 8 years (2 knees and a shoulder). Surgeries went pretty well, but lately the office staff has been TERRIBLE about calling back/following up. I saw the PA a month ago and surgery was scheduled for a month later at a facility where my insurance doesn't cover. Rescheduling at another facility is apparently not something that the staff is capable of doing. I have made several calls and have yet to receive a reply.
Had to have a second surgery to repair what his P. A did Found another surgeon. Didnt give these people a second chance.
Orthopedic drive through! PA doesn't care or have the time to answer questions. Doc meets you day of surgery. Good surgeon, but completely lacking in bedside manner.
