On a recommendation from a friend at church, we stopped in to Drapery Affair, looked around, spoke to a designer, and had her come out to our home.The designer asked all the right questions, helped us pick out the right mechanism and fabric. I used this company a few years ago and spent $2,000 on roman shades. From the very beginning they were badly made, and the cords seemed too weak to pull the shades up and down. I had them come out and replace the string cords with metal instead, but despite this within less a few months things started to go wrong with them, curtains wrinkling up, because they had not been made correctly to start with.
