A wonderful experience yesterday in my search for a new PCP! Dr Hammond and her nurse, Brittany, were so personable and professional. They spent lots of unhurried time with me in gathering my history and getting to know me. I look forward to a long relationship with them.

This was my first visit with Dr. Hammond. My previous doctor has retired from full time. I was nervous because after years of seeing the same doctor you now have to start all over. I found her to be very personable and thorough. She took the time to just visit as well talk about my health journey. Her nurse Brittany helped to break the ice before I met Dr. Hammond. She too was very personable. I like to have a rapport with my doctor and I think I have found one who will take care of me just like Dr. Barbin! It was a pleasure... read more

There was very little wait time before I was called back, and once in the exam room the doctor was soon to follow. Dr. Hammond and her staff were very friendly and calming. I do have white coat syndrome, but felt easy within a short time. Dr. Hammond was easy to talk to and seemed genuinely concerned about what I had to say. I did not feel like I was being rushed out of the door. She explained what she was looking for and what labs would be taken in simple terms. I always say it’s hard to find a good doctor and a good barb... read more

Dr. Hammond was genial and listened to what I said. Internal medicine doctors just don’t feel like real PCP’s anymore. It’s kind of like “hi, nice to meet ya! Now, don’t come back for a year!” It’s like they don’t want to see you for any regular issues. I mentioned coming in for sore throats (or other small issues) and she recommended coming to the walk-in clinic. Ironically, I had been to the walk in clinic that she mentioned a couple of weeks earlier where my insurance charged me three times what my PCP visit would cost. S... read more
