Working with eMortgage Capital was absolutely the worst financial experience of my life. I've been through at least a half dozen mortgages and even more refinances, and I have never been so frustrated, angry and even worried as I was with this refi. In early August I made the mistake of responding to a mailer I received, and the person who answered my call, Steve Lopez, a VP, made me an offer that my local mortgage guy, with whom I have worked three loans over the years, couldn't match. During this transaction we didn't feel that Nancy was invested in 'making it work', but rather that Nancy felt we were a nuisance. There were several major gaps in communication that could have been headed off in advance and, had I had the time, I very likely would have switched to a different lender rather than proceed. Towards the end of the purchase my frustration with EMC was high enough that I was ready to walk from the purchase completely. The loan did fund and we were able to close.
I NEVER REALLY HAD COMMUNICATION WITH ANYONE BESIDES KEVIN RENSHAW, I HAD CALLED NANCY ONCE BUT SAID IT WAS A QUESTION FOR KEVIN UNTIL SHE LISTENED TO MY QUESTION AND WAS ABLE TO ANSWER IT. I GIVE KEVIN RENSHAW 10 STARS 5 STARS OVER, HE WAS FANTASTIC WITH THE ENTIRE PROCESS,IF IT WAS NOT FOR KEVIN WE WOULD NOT HAVE REFINANCED WITH E CAPITOL MORTGAGE. KEVIN HAD MADE THIS REFINANCE PROCESS EASY,HE LISTENED AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS.
I’m still dealing with the notary coming to my house for closing signatures that were missed the first and second time. Plus most of my closing documents have the wrong county on them. I’m just disappointed the closing is taking so long and so many mistakes were done along the way.
I have no idea who this person is and had absolutely no contact with this person throughout my refinance process. This survey is a waste of my time. I already completed a survey for the people I actually interacted with during my refinance.
