Really wish I had read reviews before going here. Today My dog was scheduled for surgery to remove a cyst that ruptured earlier this week and as I have read on another review they would not open door for me urging drop off time. I took my little guy to a different vet who said he wouldn't remove it at this time do to it being horribly infected. He then cleaned up the puss and cleaned it up. It was infected when I went to East lake tho they were not able to do this. My dog also has a heart murmur and East Lake insist he go un... read more
We took our puppy for her booster shots, she's still really sore at the site where they administered her shots almost 2 weeks after. We called and they told us that it's it NOT normal and we should bring her in, however they need to CHARGE us!?? not acceptable
Took our 15 year old cat in because she suffered an injury to her mouth and lost a lot of weight from not eating. Xrays showed she had a broken jaw. Rather than being honest with us (15 year old cat plus an extremely expensive surgery that she probably wouldn't survive) they preyed on my wife's emotions and said she could be saved. Sold us $50 worth of weight gaining food, plus charges us $400 to bring her vaccinations up to date and another $100 for painkillers. Our cat died the next day after we gave her the painkillers th... read more
For shots they are not bad. However, I did not agree with the doctor's opinions about about how to treat my dog. I felt my dog was overly sedated, especially when he was only getting a bandage change. The doctor was not very friendly because she didn't seem sympathetic with all the charges they were adding on, and she told me the next time they would charge me more! Every time I went to them they charged me more than what I initially asked what I would be charged!
Do not go here! Like many others have said the staff is very inconsiderate and rude. I've had multiple instances where I've called in an emergency only to be treated as if I'm just someone on a list without a pet in need. A vet should be personal and show compassion. The staff seems to be here to simple clock in a 8 hour shift and get on with life there is no passion for what they do and it shows. Find a vet that cares about you and the well being of your pet.
I would give this "clinic" and Dr. Padilla no stars if I could. Super unprofessional and RUDE. They have no sympathy and only want your money. I've had more than one bad experience here. Should've stopped bringing Koda here after they scared us and told us he had parvo when he was a puppy when he never did!!! Took him to Santa Cruz and they immediately attended us and took care of Koda. Save yourself the stress and money and don't bring your pets here!!
This is the worst Vet clinic EVER. I took my beagle here years ago to get spayed, and when I picked her up at the end of the day they handed me my bill which was significantly higher than I'd been quoted. They told me it was so high because my dog was PREGNANT and they had to ABORT all the puppies!!! They NEVER called me and informed me of this OR asked for permission to abort my dogs puppies! Just mentioned it casual when I picked her up! I was absolutely livid and this was a disgustingly inhumane choice they made, and that... read more
My daughter and I came home from a 3 hour shopping trip to find my 8 year old Boston shaky and lethargic , he seemed very out of it. We called the veterinary clinic to see if he warranted a visit. I fully understand the nature of an emergency appointment . After a brief look by a tech they took him to the back , I thought to begin a treatment. Next I was instructed to take care of the payment for the visit before they could do anything. Charge 130.00 . I thought expensive but not unreasonable. Then came the 1255.00 hig... read more
How can a veterinary clinic have no compassion? I treat all living creations past and present with the upmost respect. I cried for the loss of my love one. Instead of a hug; I was thrown out there door for expressing my feelings. The staff as a whole has no heart. Made me question their beliefs. Received my Baby frozen like a popsicle in a trash bag and shoe box. They smile in your face, but have no souls.
