This organization has been disappointing in several areas, and we have concerns about their billing practices. We ended services for multiple reasons, primarily due to the ABA therapist’s consistent tardiness and, at times, failure to show up. When she did arrive, her techniques were ineffective. If our son struggled with a task, her approach of threatening to leave was not productive. This place is awful, this is supposed to be a facility that helps children with autism to gain social skills. However, the staff has very little skills and knowledge on how to deal with autistic children.. The staff is a mess, they're just chasing children so that they do not leave the facility, the staff look like children chasing chicken. The environment is a mess, instead of helping children gain social skills, the children leave the place very stressed out.
Nice new building, too bad only 10% of it is for autism treatment and the rest of the facility for fancy higher-ups. Alot of the preferred parking reserved for the higher-ups too. The therapist have tiny rooms too. Only plus side there are 2 nice o.t. gyms. The therapists are all very sweet but the higher- ups really screwed them on this move. So upsetting.
My son has been receiving treatment at easter seals for a couple of years now and I can truly say, that every single person at easter seals has truly become part of our family ! We are truly blessed to have been able to have services here, my family and I are truly grateful for all of the help we have received at easterseals, from ABA, speech therapy and social group. So far our families experience has been great. The employees are all super friendly and supportive. They truly care about their clients.
