We like that the hotel is onThe Row with options. The fitness room is extremely disappointing as well as the pool too. There are definite pros and cons to being downtown. Pros are there are some great trendy dining options on the River Walk and Midtown that are within walking distance or a short Uber/Lyfr ride. Cons...lots of vacated buildings and homeless seeking shelter.

Non-casino public areas were nice including the coffee shop that has delicious bakery items. The room was smoking. We immediately asked for non-smoking but was told there were no other king sized bed rooms available. This is a huge hotel so this information seemed like a brush off. There were some random clothes on the counter in the bathroom which was kind of gross. There was almost zero water pressure and literally the only thing we could smell was smoke. Three days later are stuff still smells.

location is convenient, staff was friendly, plenty of dining options we didn't need to leave The Row

Overall the hotel was nice. The suite with the small playa pool that I stayed in was bigger than expected and everything was to my liking. I only had two issues. For one it’s no microwave which sucks when you have food that needs to be warmed and two the tub is very deep and high off of the floor. I am a short thick person so getting in and out of the tub was a bit of a hassle. If there was a step stool that would be great!
