No help from the staff. Absoluty Ignored after 4 calls to the front desk. Will not return to the Row.
Supposedly this is a four star hotel. My room had curtain rods that were coming off the walls that let light through, an asbestos ceiling, a toilet seat that wouldn't stay on the toilet, and a bed that was so old it tilted to one side. I was afraid I might fall off! In other words, it was run down and in desperate need of a remodel. I would not stay here again.
The property is very dated. The surrounding area is not a place I would deem “safe” for tourist to walk about. The property itself needs significant revitalization. The elevators to the parking garage are beyond dirty and received no attention during the three days we stayed on property. Overall, I would consider this property and it’s surrounding area a ghost town, at best.
Bad front desk
Plus: Pleasant staff, quick automated check-in and check-out. Minus: Room 620 was generally worn-out for the price I paid. Old, stained furniture, a large wet spot on the carpet between the beds and a wash cloth from the previous occupant in the shower. Did not inspire a lot of confidence in the cleanliness on the place.
Resort fee for this place is ridiculous, this is bottom tier even for Reno. I didn't think to check if it they had resort fees beforehand cause calling this place a resort is laughable. At the price plus resort fee, please go to GSR or the Nugget much better options even with the drive. Room was pretty dirty and clearly needs a remodel hopefully they use the extra money they are stealing to actually do that. They are also trying to automate everything including check in so they can save even more money by not paying employee... read more
