Unfriendly receptionist at checkin
I stayed at Eldorado 2 nights at the beginning of the week. I was looking forward to using the pool... but it was closed. The resort restaurants were either closed or they had short hours - so I had to look elsewhere for meals. They still charged the full additional resort fee - when I complained at the front desk, they said they cannot do anything about it and there's no manager available to talk to. Recent stay at Eldorado in Reno Let us start with the room NOT being wheelchair accessible even though it was booked that way. Next we go to the faucet for the shower coming off in my hand and having to wait 4 hours to have a maintenance person fix it in less than 10 min. My grandchildren and I had to wait to wash the chlorine from the pool off until he was done. The shower itself was placed low so I had to bend over to wash my hair and I am 5' 5". My room — 361 if I remember rightly — looked nothing like the photo representation on Orbitz. It was 20 years old and tired and sad, replacing the mountains with crimson neon that never turns off. The hotel in general is a bit sad — it is in desperate need of renovation, including having a bit of the Reno perhaps removed — the statute of Poseidon belongs in a museum of bad taste. Horrible Service Check in long wait time and awful. Very rude front desk. When I call for some room service they will take hours to bring in!
Not what i was used to, buffet closed the check in to cheap so rude. Street is dangerous to say the least maybe Las Vegas next time. Disappointed in Reno but went to the new J Casino all new pretty nice would stay there if planning on staying inside.
