Smoot should be a debater instead of an NP. It's frustrating when it feels like the professional you're paying to provide you medical advice just wants to argue even when you've decided to try her suggestion. I am extremely disappointed with the care I received from Ms. Elizabeth Smoot, APRN. I came to her simply to continue a long-standing SSRI prescription for OCD, yet she billed me as “medically complex,” resulting in charges of over $400 for a visit that lasted 1.5 hours and felt disorganized and excessive. I have been seeing Elizabeth for years and she is professional, kind, and caring. She is mindful of her patients emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. She takes the time needed to make a proper diagnosis, not a surface assessment. I would recommend her highly.

Ann Smoot is a great psych nurse practitioner. She listens and understands me as a patient. Sh is prepared for our appointments and knows exactly what issues that we have been working on and the ones that I struggle with.
