If you like horse racing this is a great place to go. Easy bet options, plenty of seating, food booths. Casino on the side. Come early to get a good parking spot.
It's super awesome to feel a bit at home when coming to Ellis Park, being from Atlantic City, NJ. I recommend coming here for slot play. I can't wait till the Horse racing season to start. I'll keep coming back, Love the atmosphere here, and I'm eager to hit the big time win!
Love the casino because it's close by. I favor Owensboro more but the drive is a bit much if you just wanna have a bit of fun on a limited amount of time. Ellis has always been my choice for gaming in this area. Entrance age is now 21+ rather than 18 as in the past, be prepared to be carded if your younger, but get ready to have some fun. I felt like I walked into the basement of a old hotel the air had a musty smell. The ventilation was not working well parts of the room smelt good and then other areas smelt of years of nicotine. There were a lot of machines not working. It definitely needs an upgrade
