I was very pleased with the emergency care the I received fromAMC. The nurses and doctor were very respectful and carried good bed side manner. I would recommend AMC highly to others. Received quality care in an efficient time. Very please with the services received. Thank you.
It was a slow note hence we received excellent attention. Though the nurses, aides and ER Dr Ferrara were just so attentive. I have been in many ER’s with many seniors I always pick Memorisl ER IF it is not traumatic. I find the drama, chaos and volume of patients less than other ER’s.
I had an absolutely terrible experience at this emergency room. I came in because my leg was in excruciating pain, and I had no idea if it was due to an injury or some other medical issue. I arrived at around 5 AM, but I didn't see a doctor until 7 or 8 AM. When I tried to explain my pain to the nurses, they completely ignored me or redirected the conversation. It took 3 people to try to take out blood for testing and neither of the 3 could get enough blood to run tests. They had to do the potassium test 3 times and each time had a different result. This picture only shows one of the locations they attempted to take blood out. Not once did a real doctor speak to me about my symptoms. At the end when leaving, the staff made it sound like I didn’t have any real symptoms and tried to say my upper abdominal pain was due to something in my uterus. I've noticed that the ONLY good reviews are dated 2017, 5-6 years old, all newer ones are 1 star only!! DO NOT COME HERE!!! HORRIBLE service, incompetent, understaffed (or so they say) staff, no care at all. It's 5 AM, we've been here for 9 hours already- waiting in the COLD, FILTHY general room, UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIRS, along with the other 9 people that have not been taken care of either.
