Nov., 2026 filed a claim with Empire Auto Protect via Ford Service desk for replacement for steering gear rack which was replaced . The service desk at the dealership commented how smooth the transaction flowed dealing with Empire. The company in my opinion is first rate and would recommend them if I was approached.
Scammers, stay away if this company, they are a bunch of crocks and want to steel your money. Sales are awful and deceiving, basically thief's.
I recently had to cancel my policy (2/8/26) since I no longer had the vehicle that was insured. On 2/19/26 Preston Motors, Millsboro,De. sent a copy of my contract for a new vehicle showing the vehicle insured by Empire was in fact traded and was acknowledged by receipt by an Empire employee. Empire was instructed to cancel the policy. However, for the month of March, Empire charged my credit card account. I called cancel my policy and he tried to tell me I have to show him a bill of sell formy truck. He lied to me to start with when I bought the policy now he’s trying to pull this shit. They have got to be the shittiest person in the world Sean the company may be good, but Sean is trash. I’m fixing to call a BBBB. I’m calling authorities and I’m doing a charge back because he refuses to give me my money back and I’ve only had the policy for three days.

I requested a cancellation and refund hours after my transaction with them. I was ignored. To this day they have not honored their 30 day unconditional cancellation and refund policy and its been more than 3 months since my request. I filed a complaint against Empire Auto Protect for fraudulent and deceptive sales practices and for failing to meet their stated obligations, with my Banks credit card fraud Division and more importantly with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (A Government Agency). COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL and UNETHICAL! OK, there are companies that are Crappy and then there are companies that are complete Crap. Empire Auto Warranty is the latter. I purchased a policy on July 3rd 2025 and was charged $298.00. I was told I would receive a copy of the actual contract within 7 to 10 business days.
