We closed a year ago with empire and didn't have a single issue. They even offered to send a guy to our home to sign the paperwork. They informed us of everything including that our prefab would change from personal to real property and not to spend the check we get which saved a huge headache im sure.

Dont even want to begin with discussing this escrow business. Very unorganized and different representatives from different offices contacting me. Slow on all paperwork. And I closed 3 weeks ago and still waiting for all important paper work to be givin to me. Was very pushy and seemed like all they cared about was getting my cash before they did the proper paperwork. They had to much of passing the job around to different offices and different people. Empire Title in Tempe handled the closing on our purchase in Sedona. 2.5 years after the closing, it was discovered that our property was classified at the county as a "secondary home", resulting in us paying higher property taxes. This was never the case. We reached out and were told by the title company to contact the county ourselves to fix this as the individual who handled our closing was no longer with them (they don't keep records??). It was okay for the most part. I did not appreciate the fact that though they had an office in Phoenix I had to go all the way Tempe to conduct my business with them. And with that being said it was actually a very good experience.they made everything infinitely easy and since I have never done this before they explained everything I had to do and we're with my husband and I every step of the way. I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs title work done.

If you want a pain-free and reliable title company, then I would STAY AWAY from this title agency at all costs! We had no choice but to use them because our seller requested it. They are UNRESPONSIVE, SLOW and INCOMPETENT. I promise you they will ruin your house buying experience with their lack of care and empathy. Email, phone calls, texting, nothing works to get through to them. There are plenty of other much better title agencies out there.
