My 87 year old father came to Encompass after back surgery. Prior to his arrival, he was unable to get pain under control and was taking high dose of oxy. The opioids also were causing constipation issues, and mental confusion. The recovery was more than we could handle at home and we called Encompass seeking help. My father stayed there for 5 days. The nursing care was very helpful in getting his pain under control and also getting his mental clarity back. He was able to do PT for 3 hours each day---he wanted to do mor... read more

HORRIBLE. If I could give it less that a 1 star, I would. I have never in my life witnessed such rude and horrible behavior by a nursing staff. I have been in the medical field for years and what I witnessed at the Bluffton facility was disgusting. They treated my mom like absolute crap. She was in terrible pain and they would wave her pain pills in front of her just out of reach. We would wait 45 minutes for anyone to answer a call button.
