This was an exceptionally positive experience. This was a rough rehab with some health setbacks, but the doctors, nurses, techs, OT/PT, cleaning crew, and support staff were so caring and quick to intervene. The therapy was geared to my husband’s specific needs with recommendations on how to continue at home. Staff would stop in to check on him and encourage him. We’ve had a great experience working with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Kissimmee. As a non-emergency medical transportation provider, we regularly coordinate with their team, and the staff is always professional, organized, and focused on patient care. Their communication during pickups and discharges is smooth, which helps ensure our transports run safely and on time. Encompass is on of the best rehabilitation facilities I have seen. Their staff is highly trained. The gym is very well equiped. The food is good. The rooms are comfortable for the patient and their vistors. The only warning I would give is to set your expectations based on what can reasonably be reached in a 2 week period. They can accomplish a lot in 2 weeks but it is based on the patient's condition coming in and the effort the patient can put forth to reach their goals.

I got to Encompass on the 28th of October with no movement of my right side, due to a stroke. My second day here they had me up and walking, moving around and using what muscles that i could. If it wasn't for my occupational therapist Natalia and my physical therapist Meghan, I wouldn't be able to do the things I can now that I'm home. I still have some work to do but I've come along way and I'm very grateful to everyone at Encompass. I love my nurses too Destiny, Jelonie, and Diamond they are the best!!

We had a great experience at Compass! The staff and nurses were very sweet, attentive and gentle. Front desk staff like Carla, was very friendly, nurse Lisa, was so understanding and gentle and doctor Gabby, was so attentive to our needs! Not to take away from the staff that came to help or got us supplies when needed, bring food with a smile, all the physical therapists that spent time with my husband and the CEO came in person a few times to make sure our needs were met.
