I used to work in the Mercy Peds ER and one of the physicians recommended me to him 2 ½ for my son on the way. He has called as well personally to check on my son and is great at answering any questions. He's not your typical doctor who just comes in, does the bare basics and leaves. He makes sure you're getting all information needed. I took my newborn today to see him and he even looked up my hospital charts from the other day just to kind of reanswer questions I was confused with
Dr. Andersen is an excellent pediatrician and I recommend him highly. He takes the time to thoughtfully explain concepts and is eager to answer any questions. He truly cares about his patients and goes the extra mile. My son recently went through a health scare and not only was Dr. Andersen a trusted resource, he was also compassionate and helpful in our search for the right specialist.
Dr. Andersen is very thorough at each appointment and you can tell he truly cares about your child.
He's not prescribing antibiotics on a whim. That's what builds up antibiotic resistant illnesses. He's smart, he's informative and he has a way of speaking in layman terms. He never seems rushed, but doesn't just hang out either. He's a great doctor, we've been pleased for years now. I also appreciate having a male pediatrician for my boys.
Dr. Andersen is wonderful!! Always very helpful in explaining things, putting mind at ease as a first time mom. You can tell he really cares for his patients! Thank you for all you do, Dr. Andersen!
