Wow, I truly believe that Dr. Downes may be one of the most intelligent, thorough, and caring, providers that I have ever come across as a patient as well as during my years working with other providers as a nurse. He knows facts about meds and their implications in various settings that I’ve never even heard any psychiatrist mention. Dr. Downes really understands me. He takes his time and really listens. I finally found a doctor that is knowledgeable about my condition. He makes me a partner in my medical decisions. Excellent doctor!
Dr Downes is literally the best psych I've ever had. He's friendly and welcoming and actually LISTENS to me and doesn't write off my concerns even if I'm bringing them in because I've seen things online.
