My experience with this Extra Space storage started really great. The people I dealt with were very helpful and went above and beyond to help me. I rented a unit and told them I need it for 3 months and 3 to 5 days only in the fourth month. They told me that would not be a problem and will charge me for however days I need it in the final month based on the monthly fee adjusted for the days used. I made a reservation for this month and I called to get my storage unit and even though I forwarded the email to the manager because he couldn't find my reservation over the phone. He called me back and told me that he couldn't honor that price even though I sent him the email worst costumer service I wouldn't bother renting a storage unit unless u want to get the run around

There is a rat infestation that is ongoing and they have no desire to solve it. They cut your lock whenever they like on extremely short notice. They take no responsibility for the biohazard and destruction that they caused.
Buyer beware. This storage unit is in my neighborhood and I would have loved to support the business long term. However, they offer no contracts to lock in the price for any extended period of time. They also regularly raise the rates immediately after their initial sign-on promotion ends and typically on a monthly basis. I chose this facility because it was close to where I moved. In LESS than 24 Months they have raised my Rent FOUR TIMES! I finally had Enough and moved out! EXTREMELY GREEDY COMPANY!
2023 I rent a storage and canceled same day. my hubby and i yesterday set up to rent from extra space and we were told they couldn't rent to me. I asked why, the young lady working stated that extra storage call police on me. so i'm thinking oh my, have i been identity theft. i even went far as writing the manager of extra syorage for the police report or something. so i checked my email for 2013 and yes i rented CONTACTLESS. I give credit where its due. Thats why 2 stars and not one so I will start with the good. The company over the phone which is not the same reps when you go to the facility are nice and know how to be patient with you and give you the best deal they can. I have found competing prices elsewhere though just a little farther from my location.
