Joe at Extra Space in West Haven was great. He was very friendly and helpful in solving a storage problem for us. The facility was clean and well maintained. We would certainly recommend Joe and Extra Space.
Great storage facility! Very seamless having our belongings stored here. The only concern was after the “intro” period, the monthly price increased. My husband had signed the agreement and couldn’t remember anyone mentioning that the sign on price would increase after 3 months. We called and talked to Joe and he was able to work with us.
Awesome facility, really clean. Large aisles make it easy to get where you need to go. We had a semi back right up to our unit making it easy to unload.
So far my experience has been great. First day I got my rental I had some confusion with gate code and was helped immediately as well as having key at the storage unit in under 30 minutes which is awesome service.
These guys add all kinds of costs to the amount you have to pay when you first set up your new unit rental. I rented a tiny 4x4 that was suppose to only be $28/ month, by the time she added the $29 processing fee, $11 for their cheapest insurance (which they required, so you have NO choice) and that $11 every month. So now it's $39/ month, then there's the cost for the lock and by the time she was done adding everything on, it came to almost $85 that you have to pay in full on the first day, and then $39/ month thereaft... read more
