I went here with my daughter to get a small Storage space. The staff was helpful and friendly. The unit was a good value. I have a storage somewhere else that is double the cost & the staff are horrible there. I would recommend them if you're in need. We didn't have to push in any codes to get inside the building, so anyone could just walk in. I didn't like that part especially with my daughter going alone. Other than that, I didn't have any issues.

If you are in need of storage space, I can't imagine you having a better experience than you will hear at this Extra Space Storage facility. I was there for the better part of two years, even went through a management/ownership change, and the service was always impeccable! I've never had a cross word spoken to me. Even when I took my payment off of auto pay and 'life' made me forget to pay on time, it was always a friendly reminder phone call. We arrived at the Midlothian office in a panic as our stuff would not fit in our property and we had movers waiting. William immediately assisted us with understanding, patience, and friendly excellent service. Throughout the morning, William and Tanisha were great to help us with any concerns. They are a great team. We give them both top stars!

This company has the algorithm of getting people in at low rate and then every few months they will raise rates knowing that it's extremely difficult to unload a storage unit. It's not only inconvenient it's unethical price gouging. Warning, do not use this company. We started in the $100 range and after two years was in the $300 range. Wish my husband had read the reviews prior to using. Most of my wool rugs were destroyed by moths high up on the second story. WARNING BE AWARE OF THEIR CROOK LIKE BEHAVIOR !!! They can't give a straight answer of when We can expect air conditioning to be fixed that has been BROKEN DOWN LITERALLY THE WHOLE SUMMER!!!!With this crazy heat our belongings are growing mold and we are suffering from heat stroke every time we try to do anything. Only thing they can tell us higher up is on vacation so we can't talk to try to resolve issue or find out anything so all they keep repeating is you can move to a more expensive unit ?!?!?!

The office staff were helpful and efficient. However, this does not appear to be very safe because the gates are always wide open as is the building. I don't feel safe going there alone.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!! They quote you a price to get your business, then 3 months later almost double your rate. It's been a nightmare dealing with them regarding the price increase. If I had know they were going to increase my rate by so much shortly after I moved my stuff, I never would have used them. I don't recommend them unless you like being lied to and taken advantage of. They are dishonest thieves!
