The good news is that this location is huge and they have plenty of storage units available for rent. The not-so-good news is it's located in an area that isn't very well-maintained, and you will often be stopped waiting for a train to pass on your way to the facility. There have been numerous times that the gate doesn't work, and there is lots of trash inside. The staff is very friendly though and have been helpful in solving issues with me. Twice, the women answering the phone at Extra Space Storage located at 134 S 700 W Salt Lake City, UT 84104 facility exhibited an insane level of animosity over the phone. One woman yelled at me when I asked her to clarify directions for how to get into the facility. They have no concept of customer service. It was as if I was begging Scrooge for a donation rather than being a customer who had prepaid over $1,300.00 for their storage space.
