Great storage place. Easy in and out access. Responsive and communicative staff as well. Would recommend for short term rentals only because it is outdoors and the wind does carry dust and dirt into the units. Other than that, I would say overall it’s definitely worth the price.
Karla is outstanding! Extra Space Storage please consider giving Karla a promotion, she deserves it! She is professional, goes above and beyond, sincerely cares for the new customer and their best interest. I am blown away with her service.
To begin with they have false advertising for there is no 24 hour access unless you want a tiny unit. Next, we have only been there 8 months and in that time they have raised the rent twice now almost $100 extra dollars now a month. At 1601 Athol avenue the staff will watch you like a hawk make sure you're not there for any longer than 3 hours at a time and if your unit is like ours which is directly in the Sun things will become too hard to touch even inside the Unit. Absolutely the worst and most misrepresented place I have ever been to. Sleeziest place I've encountered. Giving this place 1 star is actually giving it too much credit. I reserved a unit online after speaking with a representative over the phone and going over all the details. When I arrived, I was told they couldn’t honor the price, even though I had a reservation code in my email. Zachary was great. He took the time to answer my concerns. Although I ended up not renting a space in this location, he made sure he could retain me as a customer and directed me to a different location. He is a great asset to this company.
