While I was disappointed when the rates increased after the transition from Town Storage, I can't say enough good things about the customer service at Extra Space Storage. After a year of paying my bill on time, every month, my bill DOUBLED IN ONE MONTH! I called and asked why and was repeatedly told, That's market value. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! And, the rep was as rude as could be. He was probably tired of calls complaining about the sudden pricing changes. I would avoid this place like the plague.

Their pricing is not transparent and was confusing to understand. When I called for clarification, the representative was rude, cut me off, and became frustrated during a call that lasted only about three minutes. He ultimately hung up on me. I signed a contract with a different company who has better pricing, transparent pricing, and no hidden fees.
