I am posting on behalf of a longtime SmartCube and Extra Space Storage client/victim, who was one of the 15-20 individuals that suffered significant financial loss over the last 2 months ---over $14000 worth of tools and equipment he had stored at the facility after a divorce. He went by the unit to grab a couple of items only to find his lock had been cut and was sitting at the foot of his unit. Worst place to store you belongings.There have been multiple break in in the past month since Xtra storage took over.My rent has gone from 90 dollars a month to 135.NO CAMERAS IN AREA OR SECURITY.There was incidents where they went from an empty storage and remover the sheet meta screws to break in the units.Beware of Bad management and poor security.
