After the fact, I found out that this location, where I have a storage unit was acquired by Extra Space. I totally panicked not knowing what may have happened to my things. CubeSmart put me through the wringer and dropped me like a bad habit without notice. I said all that to say that once I was given the new contact information, I reached out ready to throw blows. lol. I’ve been searching far and wide for a long, wide unit for my business over the past few months. Many self-storage facilities advertise “wide units,” only to surprise you with two or three smaller units next to each other, separated by walls—which obviously does not equal a true wide unit. CubeSmart actually had the long and wide unit I needed, exactly as advertised. The rates I received were also excellent. Have been under new management for only one week and they already raised my rent an extra $11 a month. I've only been a customer for about 3 months and already they raised my rent. This is ridiculous and they never said anything about the company changing ownership from cubesmart to extra space storage. Never received an email, text message, phone call or no letter in the mail notifying customer of the change.
