Do not rent here!! Worst experience I’ve ever had. Elevators are always broken. Dog poop on stairs ALL THE TIME. A maintenance call took 3 weeks to complete. When I moved in ceiling fans hadn’t been cleaned. The stove was damaged, bathroom cabinets damaged, bathroom mirror damaged. I filled this in on the move in inspection and NOTHING was fixed the whole year I was there. I was charged 2 cleaning fees after in cleaned the unit. New management (past month or so) is the worst I’ve ever dealt with (and I’ve both worked as a leasing agent & lived in 4+ apartments). They decided to randomly start towing people when they took over management about a month ago and towed multiple residents. My car was registered. They didn’t even warn us to double check beforehand and since it’s never been an issue the prior two years, we never got a warning and weren’t prepared. Like any apartment, this one has some bad sides, but it's important to be fair when talking about them and also mention the good things. I just moved into this apartment. It's very clean and nice, and there have been about 3-4 events in just one month. They are not the kind of leasing office that ignores residents and never communicates. Stay away from this property. Me and one of my best friends from high school lived here for two years. The building and units are decent. The gate to our parking garage has been broken 95% of the time I’ve been here, and just two weeks ago my $40k car was stolen from our garage. Front license plate stolen. Car broken into. It’s hard to feel safe. Elevators are constantly down. Awful management since we’ve had 4 different management companies in 2 years. Communication is super poor. If you want to feel like you’re living in a glorified fraternity house, look no further than Factory Design District. Your maintenance requests and complaints will never be taken care of or taken seriously, you’ll notice trash/filth throughout the hallways, stairwells and elevators on a daily basis, paint chipping at every corner, damage throughout the entire building, disgusting dog park areas, poor security systems that rarely work, and the smell of cigarette/weed smoke every day that will filter into your individual unit.... read more
