I cannot say enough good things about this vet clinic. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They took the time to explain everything in such clear detail that I genuinely left with no unanswered questions, which made the whole experience so reassuring. I have been taking my 15 year old lab there since I rescued her at 9 months. They are truly the most caring staff. They will bend over backwards to squeeze us in for an appt (which at our age is more frequent). The staff comes out to greet her when she arrives. I know she is receiving the best care and they are providing recommendations based on her specific needs vs a generalized approach.
I moved away from a fabulous vet and found this one in a pinch because my cat had an allergic reaction and needed to be seen. I am very very picky about things especially when it comes to the care of my baby. Every single person i interact with at this vet is just so sweet and caring and kind. I can feel how much they love their jobs. My kitty is on a healing journey for her allergies that came with being under anesthesia and being biopsied yesterday. Very very distressing time for me. When I told people Miles had 35 teeth removed, they were shocked. So was I. I did not consent to that scope of surgery. Miles was 14, diabetic, and still bright. I brought him to Fairfax Animal Hospital for what I understood to be a small, single area procedure that Dr. Catherine Curry and I discussed The first thing I said at consult was “Miles has diabetes.” It never came up again. Fairfax animal Hospital is the best! My cat was having issues and I made an appointment online Sunday for Tuesday afternoon but that morning he was much worse so I called the office when it opened to see if they could get him in earlier. The tech said she would check with the doctor and call me back and she did right away and said I could bring him in at 10:30. They took great care of him and he is feeling so much better!!!
