This is an incompetent law firm. They won't really fight for your rights unless you're in a car accident where the police reports are already filled out and filed for them. If they don't see enough money in it for them to pursue, they won't. In all reality, it's not you or your injuries they care about, it's about the money they can put into their own pockets.
