Costumer service of this insurance is totally miserable. When i tried to reach out to them regarding my insurance policy the agents were never available to resolve a problem. Every time they say that “they are in a meeting for a days or week”. They just don’t want to face the costumers due to that our money keeps deducting from our account monthly due to auto payment system.
Hey guys, just a suggestion from a customer’s point of view — if you want to keep your business thriving, it's really important to improve how you handle customer service over the phone, since that's the main way most of us reach out. Also, please consider making more services available online. Not everyone has the time to visit your office in person. Beware of Farm Bureau Insurance I’ve been a loyal customer of Farm Bureau Insurance since I was 17, but my experience with them has been a disaster in recent years. I don't understand the bad reviews at all. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. After being totally screwed over by State Farm and Go Auto I called Farm Bureau. I had the pleasure of talking with Mr. Darren Theriot. He is a helluva good guy. I needed insurance on my pickup right away. Mr. Darren said "not a problem" and went to work. I sent him what he needed and less than 30 minutes later I had full coverage insurance on my truck for $136 a month. Been hiking my insurance for the 2yrs. My rates have gone up 178 in the last 18 months with no tickets or any traffic citations. They excuse is the commissioner has increased the rate, but I go through a company and my rates are lower for the same coverage. I would not recommend farm bureau of Lake Charles.
