Unethical in my opinion. They raised rates $25 across the board for "inflation" 🤨 while inflation was only 2.75% (the math ain't mathin'). They also quoted for one amount then ran my credit & raised the cost (what does my credit score have to do with my ability to drive a car?) Final straw for me: If your payment is returned by your bank twice in a single 12 month period (even if you call & make a payment same day) they make you pay 3 months in advance. I came into pay a late payment, and they wanted to raise ongoing my monthly by 60%. I settled up with them, and closed out my policy. It took less than an hour of online shopping for me to find the same coverage for 25% less than I was paying before they decided to jack my rate. They could've kept overcharging me for years, but they got greedy...
Without any notice or status updates, the rates are now reflected as higher. Louisiana insurance rates have gone up, which affects state insurance policies. I am upset with the services; my agent hasn't been responding to me for the past 2 months since I placed a transfer request to a new location. The transfer of my policy hasn't been completed yet.
