I had auto insurance with FB for a little over a year. My last renewal warranted a decrease in my premium and instead it was increased nearly $100 with no accidents nor any violations at all. I found a better rate and canceled my policy with FB 8/16/2025. I informed them that I had moved and gave them my new address to be sure it was mailed correctly. I switched over from State Farm in September due to several issues, and so far I couldn’t be more pleased with the excellent customer service I’ve received from Farm Bureau Louisiana.
Unethical in my opinion. They raised rates $25 across the board for "inflation" 🤨 while inflation was only 2.75% (the math ain't mathin'). They also quoted for one amount then ran my credit & raised the cost (what does my credit score have to do with my ability to drive a car?) Final straw for me: If your payment is returned by your bank twice in a single 12 month period (even if you call & make a payment same day) they make you pay 3 months in advance.
