I have been happy with them for most the last 38 years because they have taken care of the legitimate claims we have made with few issues. In the last year they raised our rates and denied a damaged roof claim on a house we bought which had been damaged by hail (according to roofing agents) because they said the roof was too old. I then had to sign a roofing waiver saying they didn’t have to cover any further damage to the roof until I replaced the roof at my own expense or they wouldn’t insure the house at all.
The rudest skanks alive. They can’t even explain their own policies to you or tell you where “percentages” of rate increase comes from. And then they hang up on you when you demand that they explain things better to you.
Been since early September and no settlement with weeks without returning calls, texts or emails. Very poor service!
Had a claim from tornado damage in 2020. Farm bureau did give a partial check for my roof. However, we gave the check to a company to come do our roof. The company cashed the check, and then filed bankruptcy without fixing our roof. We have then since started having water damage. We called farm bureau to see what we can do. Basically we were told nothing that they paid and replaced the roof. We do not have a new roof and now our house is leaking with water coming in around electricity. They’re still not willing to help!
Kevin and his office staff are amazing! They continuously go above and beyond to help our family with all of our insurance needs! I would highly recommend Kevin for any of your insurance needs!
