Went in today , feeling under weather , she tested me for Covid and flu. Both of which came back negative. She said “it’s probably an upper respiratory infection “ just OTC meds plenty of fluids and rest . Didn’t prescribe any meds whatsoever which they normally do. Had to go back in for a shot which she refused to give me because I’m allergic to omnicef , ( no omnicef isn’t the shot ) even though I’ve been given said shot plenty of times had they read my medical file . I come in on a Tuesday night because I felt terrible I go in and they charge me a 25$ copay. I go back and they check a few irrelevant things to my symptoms, guess my height and weight, and then put me in a room they come back and say because “they can’t find a reason for my fever I probably have covid” so they swab me and send me out the door after telling me I can’t leave my house until the results come in. I will never step foot back in fast pace urgent care,I had no idea that blue cross and blue shield had a contract to charge me double,I pay a 25 dollar copay and then I get a 125.00 dollar bill ,I’ve went here for a while now because I get in and out quick but I will not be going back,I can drive to my husbands company Dr and get my dr visit free and most of the time medicine free,so sorry I’ll not be back,that’s probably the reason it’s been empty in the the last few time I went in,125.00 is what I pay to go to the ER or be... read more
My family and I went Monday and was tested for flu and strep and the doctor came in and told us it was negative two days later still not feeling any better. So I took my kids to their pediatrician turns out my daughter has flu type b and strep and my son has strep. My husband and I were tested also and the results came back negative. So we weren’t feeling any better either so we got seen by another doctor and we have flu type b. Not to mention we’ve been sick for two weeks.
On the weekends, they are under staffed & the wait is ridiculous. And I had a bad experience with a minor surgery here. I guess that was partially my fault for not going to a specialist but when it's the weekend & your in severe pain, you don't have much of a choice. But most of the staff are nice & polite.
I took my 3 children in on Saturday because their normal doctor was closed. We were thinking possibly strep. The nurse did a strep and flu test. We waited and hour for them to come back and tell us both were negative which was surprising to me. They were diagnosed with a upper respiratory virus and sent home with a steroid and zyrtec. Sunday night my 19 month old spikes a fever of 102.8 and I wake the next morning to two more children with a fever over 100. Wait is long. I was there for a lab draw only. I was passed up several times for patients that signed in after me. After complaining, the lady at the front desk, by the way don't know if she was a nurse or receptionist. No name badge. Took me back and collected my blood as per the physician ordered. A week later I was called to come back in for a second lad draw cause all four of tubes of blood hemalized . Not any good. No to mention the horrific bruise on my left arm after she dug around in my vein. Improperly collected.
