Dr. Mahmood is very kind and looked over my history very carefully before he saw me the first time. Explains things so that they are easy to understand.
Speaks to you very plainly and straight forward. Doesn't act rushed. Very receptive to anything you have to say or ask.
Dr Mahmood is an amazing Dr. Not only is he the smartest human being I’ve ever been in a room with, he is very compassionate and truly willing to find out what is going on and treat it accordingly. He listens to your concerns and is engaged enough to ask important follow up questions I’d never think to tell him. Great man, Great Doctor. HIGHLY recommended
This was my first visit. Dr. Mahmood apologized for the delay because of the coronavirus, which was nice. We talked very briefly about my condition and symptoms. He said he had reviewed my “records,” he is a part of my primary care doctor’s group. He briefly looked at my hands and feet. Then asked a couple of questions and then talked to me about fibromyalgia and a chronic pain and fatigue research group. I was referred To dr. Mahood in May. Since then my appointment has been re scheduled twice. First time was moved a month back. Then last week I got a call my August 8th appointment is now moved till September 28th. I would highly not recommend this doctor if you want answers / or treatment for your RA.
Mr. Mahmood, from the very moment he entered the room, didn't hear anything I had to say. He interrogated me as to why my previous Rheumatologist didn't immediately begin a medicinal intervention when I was first diagnosed with RA several years ago. I'm not a doctor. I did not have an answer. The answers were in my records, which hopefully, he'll have read by my next appointment. Unfortunately I will be returning, as there is a severe lack of RA specialists in my state.
