My closing was a five hour fiasco. I was the seller and out of state at the time. Well prior to closing I entered wiring instructions for my proceeds into the Fidelity secure portal. My attorney copied me on an e-mail asking "DJ" at Fidelity to confirm that he got them. Looking back, DJ had never replied. Then Fidelity charged me to both wire and mail my proceeds (flip a coin) even though I did not give a mailing address(???) and needed the funds the next day for my own purchase.
