I've been a First American customer for over 30 years, and I continue to be amazed by their excellent customer service. I need to give a special shout out to Kathy Murray who works at the Round Lake Beach branch. She went above and beyond to help me right before the 4th of July holiday. Her efforts for me were a fine example of what customer service is all about. Thanks again, Kathy.

Those big banks need to take a page out of First American’s book! Customer service was phenomenal, Mrs. Royer and Ms. Costa actually cared about our dealings and gave nothing but sound advice and helpful tips. Thank you so much!
I opened a checking account. For no good reason, a week later, they shut down my account and said they would mail me my money. 4 weeks passed and I called the branch manager, Mike Conklin. He then tells me they sent a check, even though I never received it. Then he sends me a letter to sign and he says I will have my money sent on September 21? 10 weeks later?? I dont recommend doing business with this shady bank
Had a great experience. Kathy was amazing. I'm glad I chose this bank. They are all very friendly and helpful.
