I have banked with first american bank and have too many fraud alerts , I have banked at other banks and never had any fraud. But this last fraud with First American Bank has been able too steal $3400.00 from my account,I believed that my money was safe /protected and covered by the FDIC. BUT it looks like I am still out $3400.00. I am wondering if I should trust First American Bank with my money.

I would give ten Stars if possible 😄 I just moved to the area, and went into the Buffalo Grove branch today at 4:50 pm to discuss details on my account I opened in Glen Ellyn and for a notary. To my amazement everyone was so accommodating (which I didn't fully expect considering the time). Matt managed to answer all my questions and have a solution for me in short order. While Matt worked on looking into details of why my original account was closed, I was able to get my docs notorized. I was out of there within 20 minutes.... read more

Dawn and the whole team is amazing. This branch is fast, efficient at opening accounts and they're very on top of what you ask of them. They're offering the highest APY on saving accounts in the area (2%) right now, which is great. They also accept coins without a fee, which is a plus.
